Full-Time Investment Analyst / Associate / Vice President

• Analysts: up to 4 years of working experience
• Associate: up to  8 years of working experience
• Vice President: up to 12 years of working experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Investment Analyst / Associate or Vice President at Genesis Alternative Ventures, your role involves a multifaceted approach to investment transactions within the technology sector. Here are the key responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing and Analytical Acumen:
  • Source potential investment opportunities within the technology industries.
  • Evaluate complex business models, assessing market potential, and analyzing financial projections.
  • Structure term sheets that align with the company’s growth trajectory and meet the fund’s risk/reward profile. 
• Financial Fluency and Modeling:
  • A solid understanding of financial concepts and the ability to interpret financial statements are critical. 
  • Conducting financial modeling, performing valuation analyses, and assessing investment returns.
  • Create detailed financial models for equity and credit instruments.
  • Prepare investment slide decks, including the final presentation to the Investment Committee.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Present and market investment propositions to senior management, investors, and business partners.
  • Attend venture capital network events to introduce Genesis and venture debt, actively sourcing potential deals.

   • Willingness to invest time in mastering the intricacies of venture debt.
   • Curiosity drives growth.
